County to hold homeowner exemption outreach sessions in Hewlett and Valley Stream

Nassau County has scheduled two homeowner exemption outreach sessions this month. The first is Tuesday, Oct. 20, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library, 1125 Broadway, Hewlett. The second is Thursday, Oct. 22, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Valley Stream VFW Post 1790, 65 E. Merrick Rd., Valley Stream.
The county's notice, published on its CivicAlerts page, lists the dates, times and locations. It does not describe what residents should bring, which exemptions will be discussed, or whether appointments are required.
