Woman Dies After Car Plunges Into Hewlett Pool
Police and emergency crews responded to a residential backyard in Hewlett on Friday.
A 40-year-old woman died after a car drove into a swimming pool behind a home in Hewlett, according to 5 Towns Central. Nassau County Police responded to the scene, where multiple helicopters were seen overhead.
The organization Achiezer was also present to assist. Investigators have not said how the car entered the pool or released the woman's name. More details are expected as the inquiry continues.
