Fatal crash in Hewlett Bay Park under investigation
Police say a person died in a morning accident on August 21.
The Nassau County Police Fourth Squad is investigating a fatal vehicular accident that happened Friday, August 21, 2026, at 9:29 a.m. in Hewlett Bay Park, police said.
Police have not released the name of the deceased, the vehicles involved, or what caused the crash. The department said only that the accident was fatal and that the investigation is ongoing.
