Several cars broken into overnight in Hewlett
Break-ins reported near Newport Drive and Stevens Drive early Monday.
A Hewlett resident told 5 Towns Central that her car was one of several broken into around 4:20 a.m. Monday near Newport Drive and Stevens Drive. The report did not say how many vehicles were affected or what, if anything, was taken.
Residents in the area are being urged to check any home security camera footage from that morning, keep vehicles locked, and avoid leaving valuables inside. Anyone with information has been asked to contact Nassau County police or the Rockville Centre... the report specifies NCPD and RNSP, and reach out with tips.
